The start of the product protege community.
Hey there,
First off, who hit the fast forward button on life? It's been a wild ride over the past six months, full of late nights, multiple coffee runs, and lots and lots of keyboard smashing. Why, you might ask? Well, I've been passionately working away on my book "Product Protege: The Art of Product Management for eCommerce and Beyond". And guess what? It’s finally done! Hooray! Launches very soon! www.productprotege.com to follow along!
In my late-night writing escapades, I aimed to create a guide that is both tactical and strategic, and, dare I say it, fun to read. My dream is that it resonates with both new product managers and product management teams looking for a framework to follow.
But why write this book and launch this Substack space now? Well, in between my third and fourth cup of coffee, I realized there's a real need for accessible, down-to-earth advice in the world of product management, especially for the eCommerce industry. I figured, why not put my midnight oil to good use?
But enough about me and my caffeine-fueled writing habits. This space is about more than just my book or my musings; it’s about creating a community. And not just any community, but a band of like-minded individuals who love dissecting the nitty-gritty of product management, want to share experiences, and aren't afraid of a good laugh. A bit of sarcasm and a lot of product talk, anyone?
Now for the details. I'll be sharing posts on a weekly basis. Every time you see my name pop up in your inbox, you can expect a cocktail of product management insights, behind-the-scenes book writing chaos, and of course, a hefty dose of my attempt to be entertaining through my signature humor.
So, what's next? Well, subscribe of course! If you want to join this slightly eccentric, product-loving community, hit that subscribe button. Together, let's make product management a little less jargon-filled and a lot more fun.
To the start of a fun-filled journey, and as always, your feedback is a gift! Jason
P.S. If anyone can recommend a good brand of coffee to fuel my Substack writings, it'd be much appreciated!
